Insurance and Fees

Blue Cross and Blue Shield

I am an in-network provider with BCBS of NC PPO and Indemnity plans, the NC State Health Plan, and Federal BCBS. If you have a BCBS plan from any other state, including Utah, and you see a line drawing of a suitcase on your insurance card, I am an in-network provider for your plan.

I am out-of-network with the following BCBS of NC Plans: HMO, Blue Value POS, Blue Local with Carolinas HealthCare System, Blue Home, Blue Local, Medicare Advantage, or any other BCBS POS plan.

Fees with In-Network Insurance

If you are using your health insurance to pay for your visit, and I am in-network with your insurance plan, your out-of-pocket cost is determined by your insurance company. I recommend that all clients who plan to use insurance to pay for their visits call the customer service number on their card to verify their benefits, and confirm that I am in-network with their plan.

Fees with Out-of-Network Insurance

If you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan, you will be responsible for paying for your session fee and then can seek reimbursement from your insurance company. I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse for services. In most cases, I can file the claim on your behalf as a courtesy.

Self-Pay Fees

If you are paying out-of-pocket for therapy, your session fee is dependent on the length and type of service being provided. I have a limited number of reduced-fee slots available, based on financial need. I cannot reduce your fee if you are using health insurance to pay for your visit. When you call to schedule your initial appointment, we will discuss how to cover the cost of therapy and make sure that my services are affordable for you.
