Kenny Levine, LCSW | Therapist in Utah & North Carolina
Helping couples and co-parents navigate conflict, rebuild communication, and create a more peaceful path forward.
WHEN COMMUNICATION HAS BROKEN DOWN
I help couples, co-parents, and individuals stop the patterns that keep conflict cycling — and build the skills to talk through what matters without it escalating.
Here is how therapy with me is different.
Our therapeutic collaboration is the springboard you need to break free from the old patterns and habits that are holding you back.
“We tried couples therapy before — it didn’t help, it just made things worse.”
I hear that all the time.
Here’s what happens far too often in couples therapy:
One partner lists everything their spouse is doing wrong. Then the other does the same. The session turns into a referee match — and sessions can start to feel one-sided, even when the therapist is trying hard to stay neutral.
And just like that, the process breaks down. Tension escalates. One of you shuts down, the other gets louder… and by the time you leave the session? You’re fighting about what happened in therapy.
That’s not how I work.
I’m not here to decide who’s right. I’m not in your relationship—you are. And chances are, you both have valid points.
So my job isn’t to pick sides. It’s to help you stop talking at each other and start really listening.
I’ll guide you in having the conversations you’ve been avoiding, or that have been escalating out of control. But this time, you’ll have the skills to make those conversations actually productive.
You won’t just learn to communicate.
You’ll learn to connect again.
Experience Matters
With over 25 years in the field, I’ve worked in just about every setting you can imagine — public mental health clinics, school systems, university counseling centers, and child protection services. Since 2003, I’ve also run a solo private practice, supporting individuals, couples, and families through just about every challenge life can throw.
Bottom line? I’ve seen a lot, helped a lot, and I’m confident I can help you navigate what you’re facing — no matter how complex or overwhelming it may feel right now.
Helping couples, co-parents, and individuals move forward with clarity, steadiness, and purpose.

Meet Kenny Levine, LCSW
I’m here to support you through life’s hardest moments—and help you come out stronger.
Most couples and families don't struggle because they don't care — they struggle because no one ever taught them the skills. I'm Kenny Levine, LCSW, a licensed therapist with over 25 years of experience helping couples, co-parents, and individuals build relationships that actually work.
My approach draws on three evidence-based frameworks — the Gottman Method, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — applied to your specific situation, not a generic treatment template.
I practice exclusively via telehealth across Utah and North Carolina. If you're ready to stop repeating the same patterns, book a free consultation to help you decide if we're a good fit.
